We will give you a clear diagnosis and
aim to find the underlying cause of your pain. We do
this by:
Listening - many people know a
great deal about their own body
Asking questions - the relevance
of some questions will be obvious, others we explain
Observing the way that you move,
your natural posture, specific joints and muscles in action,
the contours of the area affected
Testing the stability of joints,
the strength of muscles, skin and joint sensation and reflexes
|
Palpating - we note how the muscles,
soft tissues, ligaments and joints 'feel'
***
Diagnosis: At the completion of
our assessment we will take time to explain our findings to
you and you will be given a specific diagnosis
If you need treatment: We will
explain what treatment will best suit you and if you would
like to be treated we will do this in the same session.
