Sitting in positions that put the neck and back under strain
for long periods of time is the most common cause of back
problems. You may have begun your day in a more or less upright
position but inevitably as muscles fatigue your position will
change.
Your bottom may begin to slide forwards on your chair and
correspondingly your head may jut forward. These
subtle changes can put a considerable strain on the spine,
nerves and muscles and result in ongoing neck and back problems.

Poor posture combined with incorrect positioning of computer,
keyboard, mouse or phone can also lead to other conditions
such as repetitive strain injury.
Your screen may be positioned too low or sit off to one side,or
your chair may be too high or inappropriately adjusted. Not
only are the neck and back at risk but so too are the muscles
and tendons in the shoulders, arms, and wrists.
